Payment Policy
Senior Mobility Service aims to make purchasing mobility products simple and secure. This Payment Policy outlines how payments are handled for orders placed in South Africa.
Supported Payment Methods
We support secure card payments and electronic funds transfer. Customers may pay using major debit and credit cards issued by South African banks or EFT to our designated business bank account.
Details and instructions are shared once an order has been submitted and a pro forma invoice prepared.
Pro Forma Invoice And Delivery Fees
After the order is submitted, our team reviews the product selection and delivery address. A pro forma invoice is then sent that includes item descriptions and quantities, product prices and any applicable taxes, delivery fees based on destination and size of the items and the total amount payable with a payment reference.
Customers are requested to check the invoice and contact us if any information appears incorrect before making payment.
Payment Confirmation
For card payments processed through a secure payment gateway, authorisation is obtained at the time of payment. For EFT payments, customers should use the provided bank details and reference number and email or upload proof of payment where requested.
Orders are prepared once payment has cleared into our account or confirmation is received from the payment provider.
Security Of Payment Information
Card transactions are processed using secure, industry standard technology. Senior Mobility Service does not store full card details on its own systems. Payment partners are selected for their compliance with recognised security standards.
For EFT payments, customers are encouraged to use secure online banking platforms and verify our banking details before transferring funds.
Payment Currency
All payments are accepted in South African Rand. Customers using cards issued outside South Africa should note that their bank may perform currency conversion and charge additional fees. These charges fall outside our control.
Non Payment And Order Cancellation
Where payment is not received within a reasonable time after the pro forma invoice is issued, the order may be delayed or cancelled. Stock is not reserved indefinitely without payment. Customers are welcome to contact us if additional time is required.
Senior Mobility Service reserves the right to cancel orders where payment cannot be verified or where fraud is suspected. Any funds received in such circumstances are handled in line with our Refund Policy and applicable laws.
Overpayments And Underpayments
If an incorrect amount is paid, overpayments may be refunded or credited to the customer’s account and underpayments may delay dispatch until the outstanding balance is settled.
We notify customers of any discrepancy and discuss the preferred resolution.
